Learn how to find, bid and win lucrative public sector tenders

Public sector tendering offers access to thousands of well paid opportunities that you can win and deliver, no matter the size of your organisation (even if it’s just you).

We’ve designed a course to help you understand the best approach to identifying, responding to and ultimately winning and delivering public sector tenders, delivered to you straight from someone who has turned public sector bidding into over £1,000,000 of business.

Why should I consider public tenders?

There are many great reasons to consider bidding for public sector projects, but let’s focus on the most important ones.

Real projects with defined outcomes

Public sector projects come with requirements and outcomes, so you know what you’re getting into…and there’s a clearly defined finishing line.

High profile work for recognisable clients

No more local tanning salons or kitchen suppliers – you get to deliver meaningful stuff for names people have heard of (OK, not always…but it’s entirely possible!)

Good budgets and quick payments

Generally speaking, public sector work is priced properly and always comes with clear payment terms that they stick to. No more chasing clients for pocket change!

Hi.
I’m Garry Byrne, your course leader.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked as the only full time employee of a digital agency called Powered By Reason. my client list includes The British Museum, People’s History Museum, Plan International and many, many others, and I’ve secured all of those clients – and the follow-up repeat business – through public sector tendering.

Without overworking myself, this has contributed over £1,000,000 to my bottom line, and it can do the same for you.

Think tenders aren’t for you?

Maybe you think you’re not a big enough team, or you’ve tried responding to a tender before and got burned.

We get it, and we’ve been there. Take a look through some of the more common concerns here, and feel free to drop us an email if you have any questions or concerns at all.

Don’t forget, we also offer a completely free, end-to-end guide to public sector bidding which may answer the questions you have, and maybe even save you buying our course entirely (if you’re brave enough!).

We’re a very small team, no one will award projects to us

Whilst it’s true that some projects simply aren’t designed for smaller teams or sole traders, if anything you stand more of a chance of winning with a public sector project than a private one simply because they are obliged to treat each response fairly.

If you can demonstrate that you’re able to deliver the project, then you stand just as much of a chance of winning as any other team, regardless of size.

It’s also worth remembering that our course leader is, and always has been, a team of one.

I wasted a lot of time previously and got nowhere with public tenders

We hear this a lot, usually from small to mid-sized agency owners who have dabbled in public tendering and walked away with nothing to show but hours of wasted time.

The reality is, public tendering requires a very different approach to how you might normally bring in work, and if you simply try to apply the same techniques and tactics you do when closing other deals, you may well find yourself wasting your time.

Our course is explicitly designed to help you get over this hurdle, and helping you learn to recognise and bid for only the projects you stand a great chance of winning.
